It stays on your phone. All of it.
There are no accounts, no servers and no analytics. Body Tracker contains no networking code at all — your photos and your weights cannot be sent anywhere, because there is nowhere for them to go. Your diary lives in the app's own private folder and is included in your encrypted device backup.
Framed the same way, every time
A guide to stand against
A framing overlay marks where your head and feet should sit, with a centre line to line yourself up on.
A ghost of your last shot
Your previous photo fades over the viewfinder so you can match your position exactly.
A self-timer
Three, five or ten seconds to put the phone down and get into place.
See the change
Progress collage
Then next to now — one angle across the months, ready to share.
Time-lapse
Your whole diary as a short video, in square, portrait or story shape.
Weight, your way
Kilograms, pounds, or stones and pounds. Reads from and writes back to Apple Health, and only ever touches body weight.
Support
Something not working, or a question about the app? Email app@j2industries.com and you will get a reply from a person.
It helps to say which iPhone you are on and which version of iOS, and — if something looks wrong on screen — to attach a screenshot.
Made to be calm
The background moves through sunrise, morning, daytime, golden hour and night as the day goes on. Nothing flashes, nothing congratulates you, and nothing compares you to anybody else.
Body Tracker is a record-keeping tool, not medical advice, and it is not built for rapid weight loss. Progress over months is the point. If tracking your body is causing you distress, please speak to your doctor or another qualified professional.
